Movie Review: Asteroid City

Allison and I hit up a movie on Sunday. She is a huge Wes Anderson fan, so of course we had to go see Asteroid City.

Plot: Following a writer on his world famous fictional play about a grieving father who travels with his tech-obsessed family to small rural Asteroid City to compete in a junior stargazing event, only to have his world view disrupted forever.

Review: If you've ever seen a Wes Anderson film...you know they're a bit on the bizarre side. Well, this film made every other Wes Anderson film seem like they were the most basic film ever made. This was W.E.I.R.D. Two people got up and walked out after 20 minutes kind of weird! It has an amazing cast...but...this just was too weird. Allison is on probation from picking films for a bit, ha. {Which our next film is already decided...Barbie...CAN'T WAIT!}
