Surprise Swope Seven Shoot

We did a surprise photo shoot of the Swope Seven for my parents for Christmas! We haven't had professional pictures taken of the grandkids since Paige was a baby, so it was way overdue. The kids were not super grumbly about having to do this {really only Trent complained ha}, our photographer was quick, and the pictures turned out great. Biggest reward - Babs cried and was SO excited, yay! Success!

Drew's Hawaiian Flowers

Drew has turned into a wonderful nature photographer. For the past 2 years, she and my mom have made greeting cards out of the pictures she's taken of the flowers in my parents' yard. She turns them into presents and we give them to my mother-in-law, both of Brent's grandmothers, and a few for her friends. She has LOVED doing this and really loves looking for beautiful flowers. This year my mom challenged her to get pictures of flowers in Hawaii for her cards, and she got some amazing shots!

I don't know if I've shared on the old blog that I hurt my shoulder/rotator cuff.

It's been about 6+ months, and ignoring it and continuing to work out almost every day has NOT, in fact, made it get better. {grin}

I started PT this week, and I get to do exercises every day with this lovely lacrosse ball.

It's funny because I don't really like the color orange, so when I saw these prompts, I was like....um....hmmm...and then on Tuesday I bought this beauty!

Porchtraits

We had some Quarantine Porch-traits made last week.

We haven't taken family pictures since Paige's newborn pictures.

[Ugh, I let that self-hatred get the better of me]

But these are so wonderful and are bringing me such joy!

I will cherish them forever.

A beautiful reminder of a crazy time.
