It's time for my March reads! Don't laugh, but there's a lot of Nora Roberts this month. I am still nervous about my mood, so I am cautious about reading anything dark, so a Nora book is always perfect.
The Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts - This is a trilogy about a epic battle against vampires. Yes, I know. Some of Nora's premises are a bit ridiculous. But really at the heart these are 3 fun reads with a love story.
The Witness by Nora Roberts - A girl witnesses a murder and is trying to hide for years from people who want to kill her. She moves to a small town and attracts the eye of the local Chief of Police. I really liked this one!
Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts - A guy falls in love with an old house and decides to restore it and is haunted by memories of a young girl who used to live there and was murdered. {You'd think with talk of murder and vampires these books would be too much for me, but they aren't nearly as gruesome as they sound, promise!}
The Splendour Falls by Susanna Kearsley - A girl goes on vacation to meet her cousin who disappears before she gets there. She enjoys meeting people in the hotel and unraveling a few mysteries - some of which are centuries old. This one took a while to get into which isn't usually the case for Susanna books, but about 1/3 of the way into it I got really into the story. Not my favorite of hers but still really good. Also the first that didn't have a supernatural element to it.
