I have been listening to the same radio show for 12 years - the Bobby Bones Show. It started as a local show in Austin, and they went on the air right before I started my job, so once I was waking up early and commuting to work, they were my new best friends. The 3 people on the show were my age, and it was fun hearing their stories on air.

Fast forward 12 years, and the show is syndicated from Nashville, on like 60 stations, with 4 million listeners every day. It is one of {if not the #1} the most popular shows on the radio, and their iHeart channel is the #1 channel. I like knowing I was there from the beginning. {grin}

Well, the main person on the show, Bobby, hosted a charity event in Austin last night, and one of my dearest and oldest friends, got tickets and even got us into the VIP Meet & Greet! Talk about NERD ALLENA coming out! I was in Target when Dena called me to see if I could go, and I almost squealed. {grin}
