We had such a great, busy weekend! I love when we have several activities planned but still time at home - and that was this weekend.
We started off the weekend with Drew having a nasty fever {it started Thursday after school}. It got up to 105, and she was hallucinating in the middle of the night {about spiders being on her body and in her bed, scary stuff}, but luckily the fever broke after not even 24 hours.
Ice cream with my sick girl - anything a sick kid wants, they get!
Friday night I had some girl time with my book club sister {and neighbor} Karin. We had Mexican and it was AMAZING.
Bar selfie!
Saturday I took the kids to a birthday party for one of Trent's classmates. It was at a local place that has games, putt-putt, go karts...basically paradise.
Drew 'playing' Jurassic World {I didn't put any money in it}
Trent was a Guitar Hero!
There's nothing like time in a box with your sibling making silly faces!
Sunday was Miles' 7th birthday. I don't know how that is possible. I thought a bit today about the day he was born. Such a sweet memory. I've loved getting to see him at least weekly for these 7 years, and I can't wait to watch him grow into a young man. We celebrated at a local park - and it was perfect. Lots of running and playing makes for exhausted kids. Trent was asleep before 7:30, and Drew wasn't far behind!
Trent on the monkey bars.
He could only go 3 bars across - I bet gymnastics changes that before too long!
Swinging with her lightsaber pretzel.
The biggest and the smallest
Happy birthday, Miles!
Action packed, full hearts, great weekend!
