Movie Review: Wonder Woman

So I'm going to tell y'all a little secret that will show how dorky Allison and I are. When we go to a movie, we vote on the previews. Thumbs up = we want to see it in the theater, thumbs sideway = renter, thumbs down = not interested. When we first saw the preview for Wonder Wonder, we both gave it a thumbs down. But then I read a review Karen gave and thought 'hmmm...', so I convinced Allison we should give it a try.

Plot: Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells her of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discovering her full powers and true destiny.

Review: It was awesome! Allison and I both really enjoyed it! I absolutely love what a badass Diana is. She's insanely intelligent, speaks her mind {unheard of in 1910s England}, is crazy strong and skilled, kind, funny, and beautiful {Brent didn't think she looked pretty in previews/movie posters, but in the movie, she's gorgeous}. THEN add to it a really good plot. The chemistry between Diana and Steve Trevor {Chris Pine} is great. I really don't have anything negative to say about it. I hope there are more to come! Rating: A

Interesting! I have to say I loathe super hero movies with a passion. I can't even get through an avengers movie. The first iron man is the only superhero movie where I can nod "ok that was decent". So I wrote off this movie immediately but now I am a tiny bit intrigued.
