Stranded: The Book Edition

I know, I know...a link-up 2 days in a row is kind of lame. But I liked these 2 topics, so here you go! I'm linking up with Mix & Match Mama for her 'Stranded' series: If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take 3 books, what would they be?

I mean seriously if this topic doesn't scream Allena, I don't know what does!

So this topic took me all of about 5 seconds to make my selections.

1) Harry Potter and the XXX by J.K. Rowling - I know I'm cheating by picking a series, sue me. I've read this entire series 2 times {and am on book 4 with Trent} and have read some of them at least 5 times. The magical world created in this series is one I don't think I could ever get sick of!

2) Shanna by Kathleen Woodiwiss - This is my favorite romance novel, and I bet I've read it 7 or 8 times over the last 13 years. I started it for the first time when riding with my parents to Brent's college graduation in 2003 - that doesn't sound awkward at all, does it? I've given this book to easily 10 friends - it is awesome.

3) Outlander series by Diana Gabladon - I know, I'm cheating again. Here's another world created by an author that is just too good. Another upside is these books are LONG, so if I was stranded on an island, that would be a great benefit. The shortest book is 640 pages, and the longest is over 1,400. Talk about a winner when stranded, ha!

What would you choose?!?

Stopping over from the link up! I absolutely LOVE the Harry Potter series too! She amazes me with her skill of storytelling! I was soooo close to having this on my list too. I haven't heard of Shanna or the Outlander series, but they sound very interesting! I'll have to check them out! Hope you have a great day!

I love Harry Potter so, so much. The whole series. I'm going to reread them this summer because it's been a couple of years.
