Christmas 2019 Recap

Well, Christmas has come and gone! I have a lot to blog about in my head, but I can't start 2020 until I finish 2019. We had a great end to December and have a few more days off before reality returns, so we are soaking it all in. In our time off, we have celebrated Paige turning 3, celebrated Christmas 5 times, and will celebrate Drew's birthday on Saturday!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Brent's grandma's house. It was a smaller crew than normal but we played hard and had fun!

I had to share the picture of all 3 of my children eating cheerios before dinner.
SIGH.

It's so fun when your babysitter is also your cousin!

Christmas Morning

We woke up at home on Christmas morning and the kids enjoyed their Santa gift {a giant Connect 4 game for the yard} and opened their gifts from us. We normally go to my parents late morning but didn't this year, so they just played with their toys and the neighbors' grandkids.

Christmas Night

We went to Brent's parents' house on Christmas evening and had dinner with his brother's family and then...you guessed it...opened presents! My favorite gift of Drew's was the first 6 books of The Babysitters Club series - one of my personal faves! We've already started book 1 and I am loving sharing this with Drew!

My mother-in-law made this blanket for Paige, and she has slept with it every night!

Christmas with My Parents

We went to my parents' house on the 27th. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins.

Paige specifically asked for a donkey and a pig (???) and my mom came through!

Trent has become obsessed with football.
My dad teases him that he needs better hands for catching,
so he bought him a fake hand! HAHA!

Blair spent the night with us, and I loved that the girls slept together!!

Lindemann Christmas

Our last Christmas was on Saturday, the 28th, at my sister's house for my mom's side of the family. We don't exchange gifts {except my mom and her siblings}, but we eat and visit and play games and drink and have a great time!

The 2 babies!

And that's a wrap on Christmas! I'm equal parts loving the time at home with the kids and am also craving routine again {and less food} ha! Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!
