Finally! Allison and I have wanted to see the Ghostbusters remake forever, and we finally made it happen this weekend. Best part - we got to see it at our local dollar cinema and in 3D! #nerdalert
Plot: Following a ghost invasion of Manhattan, paranormal enthusiasts Erin Gilbert and Abby Yates, nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann, and subway worker Patty Tolan band together to stop the otherwordly threat.
Review: We enjoyed it but didn't LOVE it. It was definitely good, it was funny, Chris Hemsworth is beautiful, it was a little too long, and we both got a little annoyed by Holtzmann. All the cameos by the original Ghostbusters were great, too. Rating: B

Confession: I have never seen the original ghostbusters. Do I need to watch it before watching this?
I was on the fence about this movie! it just looked kind of cheesy..lol
Awww, Holtzmann annoyed you?? I loved her so much! I think my favorite thing about her was that she didn't just invent the proton packs and go about her business, like Ray and Egon. She kept inventing new things and coming up with new ideas. I love that. Plus she's so funny.
