Tired! We let the rugrats sleep together again last night and they got up before 6:00 AM. Ugh. That might explain why Drew fell asleep in the car on the way home from church and didn't wake up when I got her out of her carseat, put a diaper on her, and put her in her crib {except to say 'Read a book' in a sleepy little voice}.
Current Anticipation
The Emmy's are on tonight! I'm really excited because I actually have seen a lot of the shows nominated which always makes it more fun! I am pulling for Mad Men since Brent and I just binge-watched all of it {minus the last 7 episodes, still mad about that}, but I would be thrilled if Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, or Orange is the New Black won.

Sidebar about this picture - tonight when I was putting Trent to bed, I asked him if he had fun today playing with his cousins {my sister's crew was here}, and he said yes. I asked him if Miles was his best friend and he said 'kind of'. I was surprised, so I asked who his other best friend was, and he said 'Drew' {#mommyheartexploded}. He told me he loved her so much but that it was more than that. He was embarrassed to tell me what he meant, but he finally did. 'She's a miracle.' And if I wasn't already dead, that would have done me in!

I skipped the Emmys last night. Which felt weird. But also fine. I don't watch most of the shows nominated, so I didn't feel like I was really missing anything. But it was still weird not to watch it.
I am in love with Cam! If you haven't heard her sing Runaway Train, look it up. Complete opposite of Burning House. :-)
aww Trent is so presh! I read your review on Room-yikes! That would be a hard movie to watch..unless I knew how it was going to end :)
