I didn't want to go overboard and drive everyone crazy with constant updates on the house. Look, we have foundation! Look, here's a wall! etc... So I thought I'd accumulate a few stages and post together. We've officially had some good progress in the last month, and it's so exciting to see.
Foundation was poured on Halloween Day!
Framing part 1 started about 2 weeks later

Brent and I go tomorrow to pick out cabinets. We are getting close to having all our decisions made...except I'm second-guessing some of them {namely lighting and paint color}. Brent is being great, and he has said to go look at them again and if we want to change, we need to do it now. So we'll see what sticks!

Wow! Ours is still just a slab! The brick and lumber are there, but just sitting there!!!
