I got to spend some quality time with Miles last night while his mama enjoyed a pedicure and dinner with her (former) co-workers - she definitely deserved it for being a fabulous mother and sister!! Miles was especially precious last night, and I got a lot of super cute pictures of him. Feast your eyes on this deliciousness...

He has started smiling and giggling, but as soon as I would pick the camera up, he would get all serious... I'll catch him giggling yet!

I love capturing pictures of the cousins this way, maybe it's a little weird, but I think it's neat.

He is turning into a thumb sucker - too cute!

Enjoying a snack, look at those blue eyes... I wonder if they'll stay that way?

I finally took pictures of the precious night-night and block toy Laura made for Baby Boy. It's going to be neat to see Baby Boy play with these! Thanks Laura!!

1 Month Left

My due date is officially in less than 1 month!! I can't believe it. This weekend is going to be all about organization. I am not an organized person and have yet to have any nesting...which doesn't surprise me. But I have my last shower on Saturday, so Sunday is going to be all about getting Baby Boy's room organized and figuring out what I still need, need to return, etc. It should finally look like a nursery instead of a holding pit for presents... Then I have to figure out what to put on the walls...any suggestions? I'd love to put his name above the crib, but since Brent and I aren't discussing names for a while (I get too mad), that's unlikely!!

A Phat Fat, Hot Mess

While I patiently wait for Dez to send me the pictures she took at Sloshball on Saturday (hint, hint, Desiree), I thought I'd post one from my camera that shows what a pregnant mess I am. :)

Maternity Pictures

Brent and I took maternity pictures last night. He did NOT want to but was a trooper and played along for the hour and a half shoot. I can't wait to see what we get back, but it'll be a few weeks before we see anything...bummer! We took some really fun shots that I can't wait to share. It's so exciting to think in a little more than a month, we'll be back - but taking photographs with Baby Boy on the outside!! Anyone want to bet whether I took a picture like this?

TCEQ Shower

I really enjoyed having my computer mostly off this weekend, so I'm a little remiss in my blogging...

Brent's Work Shower at TCEQ - Brent's co-workers threw us a shower last Thursday during lunch. I didn't take many pictures and am waiting for Brent to provide me the rest of the pictures taken. Here are a couple I took, I LOVE the one of Brent - he humors me occassionally!

Nursery Update Part 5

I hope the nursery updates aren't getting boring...but it's definitely fun for me to post stuff as it happens to Baby Boy's room. At the shower this past weekend, the FMIL (Fabulous Mother-in-law) gave me the first few pieces of bedding!! It looks so awesome, even better than I imagined, and I can't wait to see it all done and in his room.

Baby Bump Watch - 34 weeks

The quality of these pictures is not good at all, but I don't think it matters - the bump is getting BIG! Although I measure exactly right, I still feel HUGE!!

A view from up top. :)

29 Years

29 years ago today, this little guy entered the world. Now he's on the verge of being a father! I feel so blessed to have been around for 12 of these 29 birthdays and can't wait to celebrate many more! The big celebration will be this weekend with our 2nd annual Sloshball game, but I'm looking forward to spoiling him with a few things today. :) Happy birthday honey!!

You Know You're Pregnant When... can't bend over to tie your shoes and said shoes end up being tied and looking like this (because you had to cross your leg across your other leg and tie the shoe on the side)...

Nursery Update Part 4

I realized that I never posted pictures of the nursery with the furniture put together. We got it all put together a few weeks ago... I got it about halfway put together and was pooped, so Brent's parents came over and helped Brent finish. I love how it looks so far. Now I just need to decide how to decorate the walls... It would help if he had a name, huh?? Ignore the mess everywhere, haven't quite organized ANYTHING yet in his room...

My Little Mexican Jumping Bean

I captured this little video yesterday at work. I hope it comes out clearly via Blogger. I always wanted to record Baby Boy's activities, and he was going nuts yesterday, so I was able to capture some of his movements. I can't wait to see this same dance on the outside!

Baby Showers Part III

I have been so blessed to have so many showers, but you guys all get stuck looking at the pictures! This shower was at Lauren's house and was hosted by a group of girlfriends and my sister. They decided on a monkey theme, which was so cute! I had a blast and feel very loved! I feel really bad because I didn't get a picture with my hostesses, so thanks to Patty, Angela, Lauren, Staci, Jennifer and Sarah.
Monkey cupcakes a la Patty
Cute monkey socks!

Happy Mother's Day

I didn't expect to be included in Mother's Day this year but have had many well wishes, which I really appreciate. I am even getting a massage courtesy of the daddy-to-be...I think he just wants to ensure he gets a Father's Day present. Ha! I hope all the other mothers and mothers-to-be are enjoying their day.

Play Date

Pictures of my play date with Miles... Sleeping in his uncle's spot and sitting in his uncle's chair. :)

Miles (and his mom) came over for a visit yesterday - his first trip to my house!! Patty needed to get out of the house for a bit, and I was oh so happy to be her destination. My nephew is so dang cute, and I have some pictures to post, but I'm about to have a meeting that will last the rest of the day. Pictures will follow later...

P.S. - I hemmed my pants today with hem tape (since I can't sew AT ALL) - I am SO very proud of myself!!! Thanks to my sis for picking me up some tape (and a Chai latte) yesterday.

Baby x3

I met Stephanie on Monday in Gruene for dinner at The Gristmill (yum!). I haven't seen Stephanie since we were both early in pregnancy, and we thought she was only having 1 baby. She told me that her doctors said a normal twin pregnancy looks like a full-term single pregnancy around 25-27 weeks. Stephanie is 25 weeks, and I'm 32 weeks in this picture - she is nowhere near as big as me! I'm going to say it's because she's 3 inches taller. ;)

As a side bar, Stephanie is having a boy and a girl (how fun!!), and Baby Girl is not growing as she should be. Please take a minute to send up a prayer for their family and especially their daughter.

The Sullivan Wedding

We traveled to Sweet Home, TX this weekend for the wedding of 2 of our friends - Casey and Heather. Brent was an usher in the wedding, and I love seeing him all dressed up in a tux!

We stayed in a 4 bedroom house in Shiner with the usual suspects - Derek & Dez, Ryan & Rhonda (and of course, Macey) and Riley & Erin. The house was really neat - the living room was a bar with 2 full kegs. (Not so awesome when you're pregnant.) Our room was golf themed, complete with a Miller Lite trophy!

The rehearsal was pretty interesting - it ran way late and then dinner ran even later (complete with the A/C dying). Fortunately, Macey was her usual super cute self and kept us all entertained.

The wedding was so nice, and Heather was a GORGEOUS bride. I tore a contact halfway through the ceremony (Brent had to fish half of it out of my eye), so I ended up in my glasses for the reception. Brent and I danced quite a bit and enjoyed the great food and time with our friends.
Sunday we were all ready to head home, but I did snap this one adorable picture that I have to share. I think he MIGHT be ready for his little guy to get here... {grin}

Deloitte Shower

My co-workers (and former co-workers) threw a shower for me last night, and we had a blast! I'm having a great time gearing up for Baby Boy's big arrival!

All my great presents - look at the jumper - isn't it precious?!
Anna, me and Dena (they did all the work)
Dena listened and made me my own giant cupcake!!
Kristen really liked the G Diapers (I got several packs - yea!)
Maya was the guinea pig and tried out Baby Boy's new swing

Flashback Friday

I am again copying Jennifer because I think this is a super neat idea - welcome to Flashback Friday!!! Here's a few fun pictures of me and Brent as kids. Dear Lord, please let my son look like his daddy!!!

Allena - the monkey child

Seriously - I could eat this kid up!!!
